Jefferson Township

Beautiful Jefferson Township is nestled deep in the northwest corner of Morris County, New Jersey. This sprawling countryside town is just minutes off of RTs. 80 and 23 and is located less than an hour from New York City.

Jefferson Township is an immense 42 square miles, divided into two general sections:  northernly Oak Ridge and Lake Hopatcong on the south end of the Township.  The Mahlon Dickerson Reservation effectively serves as a border between the areas. The Lake Hopatcong section (Lake Hopatcong being New Jersey's largest fresh water lake!) offers vacation living year round, with fabulous lakefront properties available.

As a fairly large region, Jefferson offers a generous sampling of homes available, ranging from townhome developments to single family 2 bedroom/1 bath home and, of course, traditional Colonial-style homes.

Whatever your budget, Jefferson Township may offer lots of options for you!  There are many neighborhoods to choose from, many located on cul de sac streets.

As a long-time resident of Jefferson Township, I offer a wealth of "insider information" regarding the township and its many amenities.
